Stevenson James was established in 2004 and is dedicated to providing executive search services to businesses within the private capital markets. We recognised that our clients required a specialist product centred on investor relations, fundraising, investment, finance and operations activities. As the market has evolved, we have further developed our offering to service the functions of Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) and Digital & Marketing.

So far, we have worked with over 250 investment and advisory businesses across 6 continents (we don’t yet know any funds in Antarctica) and we have successfully placed numerous candidates across a number of geographies, businesses and strategies.

We don’t differentiate between the traditional meaning of 'clients' and 'candidates' - to us every person, business, acquaintance (or even giraffe) is a client.

We are, first and foremost, advisors to our clients.  The senior members of the team are hands-on and deal with every aspect of the search process.

We offer fixed fee structuring as we strongly believe that it aligns everyone’s interests.
