Managing Director
- Co-founder and involved across all practice areas and geographies within private capital markets.
- Over 20 years’ experience in executive search.
- Formerly with Walker Hamill.
- BEng in Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Bristol UWE.

- Focuses on fundraising and co-created the Stevenson James Investor Relations and Fundraising Survey.
- Over 20 years’ experience in executive search, with deep knowledge of the fundraising market.
- Formerly with Walker Hamill, focused on private equity and hedge funds.
- BA (Hons) in Politics, Bristol UWE.
Tim McKean
Director
- Leads mandates in Investment, Investor Relations, and Fundraising within private debt.
- 17+ years in corporate and credit markets, including senior roles in asset management.
- Former equity partner at 3i Debt Management (formerly MIM); earlier roles at Mizuho.
- LLB (Hons) in Law, Trinity College Dublin.
Craig Parris
Director, Head Of Research
- Leads the firm’s industry research function.
- 30+ years in financial services research and strategy consulting.
- Previously at McKinsey & Co., A.T. Kearney, and Egon Zehnder (Head of UK Financial Services Sector Research).
- BA (Hons) in Social Science, University of Hertfordshire.
Phoebe Hatley
Business Manager
- Oversees operations and administrative functions at Stevenson James.
- Over 20 years of experience in EA, PA, and administration roles.
- Previously worked in executive search at Odgers Berndtson and Egon Zehnder.
- Joined Stevenson James from The Cambian Group, where she was Executive Assistant to the Group CEO for over 6 years
John Webster
Senior Advisor
- Senior Advisor and formerly Non-Executive Chairman at Stevenson James.
- 30+ years in financial services and strategic consulting in the UK and US.
- Currently chairs DWS Investments UK and Altima Partners.
- Classics degree and M.Phil. in Management Studies, Oriel College, Oxford.
