The client is a pan European Real Estate Private Equity fund that has an exceptional track record in investing institutional capital across the real estate market. While a small but experienced team the fund has raised further committed capital to invest and therefore we are seeking a talented analyst or potentially a junior associate to add to the investment team based in Munich.

Under the guidance of the Senior Investment team for opportunistic investments and/or the relevant transaction leader, perform the analysis and assist with the execution of opportunistic real estate investments in Europe

• Build thorough, accurate and flexible financial models
• Write investment committee memoranda that accurately reflect the benefits, costs, risks and facts surrounding the transaction
• Support the transaction leader in managing the acquisition process and liaising with internal and external counterparties
• Maintain the key data file and assist with the hand-over of the acquisition to Asset Management upon closing
• On occasion and as required, assist with recruitment, asset management activities, investor marketing and operational issues
• Frequent travel required around Europe

Experience:

• Ideal candidates will have 2-4 years of relevant experience in real estate finance, ideally corporate finance (or similar), gained at a bulge bracket investment bank, private equity house or reputable boutique financier and must include substantial experience on real estate transactions
• Excellent financial modeling skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• First rate academic track record
• It is essential all candidates speak German and English fluently
