Our client is a leading US private equity firm that has recently set up its European operations in London.  They have made an aggressive entrance into the European market and closed their first European fund.  Their focus is on small to mid cap buyouts, growth capital and distressed investments in a broad range of industries.

Candidates must have direct restructuring experience from a workout group in a top tier investment bank or specialist restructuring institution. Ideally candidates will also have worked in private equity (mid market to buy out) and focused on distressed or turnaround investing, although this is not entirely essential for the right candidate.

You must have a first class academic background, experience of the UK market and a fairly British outlook would also be an advantage. Strong interpersonal skills are essential as you will be in charge of your own coverage area and expected to hold client meetings independently.
