My client is an international investment & asset management company headquartered in Switzerland.

The Firm's investment focus is the acquisition and management of real estate portfolios and companies in Germany and other selected European countries.

The funds have a target investment volume of approx. € 2 billion and invest in German housing / student housing and commercial real estate.

The role will be responsible for Investor Relations, Product Development & Capital Raising and the key elements to the role will be:

• Maintain and develop ongoing investor relationships as primary contact person
• Co-ordinate preparation of regular and ad hoc investor reports
• Manage external service providers, including administrator, custodian, legal counsel etc.
• Supervise administration of the funds; including capital calls, unit allotments, dividend payments, unit transfers, board & unit holder meetings
• Perform research and analysis and provide structuring, documentation and marketing support for new products
• Manage investor due diligence processes and assist in equity raising negotiations
• Model new funds and perform ad hoc financial analysis

The Requirements for the position are: 

• Minimum three years of relevant work experience, preferably at an investment bank, financial sponsor / fund manager or advisor
• Academic background (B.A. or higher), preferably in business / finance / real estate
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Desire and ability to work in a results-driven environment
• Fluent English and German language skills (spoken and written)
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel
