My client is one of the leading lower mid-market, UK focused Private Equity funds.  They have recently completed a management buyout of a high-tech engineering business based in East Anglia.  The business occupies a niche space within the engineering and manufacturing of composite technologies, for use within the automotive, aerospace and military hardware industries.  As a result of the deal, they are now looking to bring on board a high caliber non-executive chairman to play a key role in driving the business forward and into new markets.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience within the automotive / aerospace / military hardware sectors, ideally within an executive and non-executive capacity.  The key task of the position will be to help guide and mentor the CEO, and other members of the board, through the development of the business and into selective new markets.  You will be sitting on the board of the business and be tasked with providing key strategic advice and guidance through this exciting period of growth.
