Richard Collins
Managing Director
Richard has led the growth of the business since 2005 and has key responsibility for leading mandates across the private equity, real estate and fund raising market. Richard has over 13 years’ recruitment experience and has completed numerous search mandates across the UK, Europe and Asia in the alternative assets market, primarily sourcing investment and fund raising professionals. Prior to joining Stevenson James, Richard worked for Walker Hamill and is a graduate in BEng Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Bristol UWE.
Tom Quinnen
Managing Director
Tom joined Stevenson James in 2006 and is responsible for leading mandates across fund raising and investor relations. Tom has experience working for a variety of placement agents, fundamental single and multi-strategy hedge funds covering the equity and credit markets as well as private equity funds. Tom has over 15 years’ experience in recruitment focusing on the financial services market, most recently with Walker Hamill. Tom graduated with a BA (Hons) in Politics, Bristol UWE.
Josephine Defty
Director
Josephine joined Stevenson James in 2013 and is primarily responsible for fund raising and investor relations mandates. Josephine joined Stevenson James from Advent Venture Partners where she was Head of Investor Relations and Fundraising. Prior to that, she was Director at placement agent XS Investments and Vice-President, Client Services at Pantheon Ventures. Josephine has over 7 years of private equity industry experience and of over 15 years’ experience within the financial services industry.
